Changing The Theme

Foobar comes with many popular color schemes (editor themes) out of the box. In order to change the theme, just follow these steps:

  1. Open Foobar Preferences screen (keyboard shortcut ⌘,)
  2. Under "General" select the theme you want to use

You are done. Theme changes are applied instantly.

Tweaking The Editor Line Numbers Options

The editor line numbers will shows you the number of each line. Some people like it, other don't and this is why it is customizable. Here is how you can customize it:

  1. Open Foobar Preferences screen (keyboard shortcut ⌘,)
  2. Under "General" un/select "Show editor line numbers" checkbox

Tweaking The Editor Code Folding Options

Code folding is a useful feature which allows you to fold/collapse code blocks into single lines. This makes it easier to read very long and complex pieces of code. Follow these steps to tweak Foobar's code folding options:

  1. Open Foobar Preferences screen (keyboard shortcut ⌘,)
  2. Under "General" un/select "Enable editor code folding" checkbox
